Deep, Dark, Delicious
“This is a must read for those who love an emotional journey for both the hero and heroine. Do not miss out on your chance to read Deep, Dark, Delicious. I couldn’t put this story down from beginning to end, and fell in love with the characters. You’ll laugh, you’ll squirm, and by the story’s conclusion, you’ll be reaching for a box of Kleenex.”

“The ending is emotional and for this romance reader was a tearjerker.”
Seriously Reviewed - 17.5/18 (Story: 8.5 - Presentation: 9)
This delicious tale did more than whet my appetite for Rafael Zayas, it made me want to sample the wonderfully described cuisine. Not only were the setting and characters richly portrayed, but I felt the Cuban culture come alive not only in Eden and Rafe, but also Rafe’s family. The catalyst to toss these two together was clever. Eden was so outwardly strong. Beneath the façade, she hid her vulnerability. Rafe stripped her defenses and he stripped off her clothes. And well, for most of the story she isn’t dressed. Oh so fun. Her initial reservations only added to her submission. This story isn’t your typical D/s book. It’s not overt. The submission for Eden is in trusting herself. Emotionally damaged, she doesn’t know how to trust what she feels, or believe in what anyone else might possibly feel for her. It was all so tragic yet beautiful when she finally risks her heart for Rafe. The ending is emotional and for this romance reader, was a tearjerker.

“An engaging tale filled with serious emotions, lighthearted moments, and incredible sex.”
Bonnie Jean – The Romance Studio
Danni DeWitt has wanted Adam Farrell for years. When the opportunity to hook up with him at a trade show comes along, she jumps at the chance. Then she goes home, only to discover he’s her new boss! Adam wants Danni for much more than just one night. But when her job is jeopardized, he keeps the news from her, hoping to “fix” the situation before she finds out. However, something this big can’t be kept a secret for long, and when Danni finds out – she’s crushed. Can she ever trust Adam again?
Ms. Donahue has managed, with Adored, to write 100 plus pages of great sex – without it becoming boring or repetitive. However, the love scenes don’t eclipse the underlining story, which is a unique twist on a familiar scenario. The author kept the secondary characters to a minimum – although I liked the few she did introduce – and kept the main focus on the hero and heroine.

“. . .the fantasy scenes are that hot and the real love scenes between Danny and Adam are even hotter. A truly beautiful love story.”
Lillie – I Do Not Want to Wait, I Want the Book Now
Danni has had it with guys. She has watched her father be unfaithful to her mother for years, then had the misfortune to fall into the same type of relationships herself. Until she can find the man worthy of her trust, she’ll just stick with her fantasies of being adored.
When she crosses paths again with Adam Farrell (business rival and star of her erotic daydreams) at a trade show in Vegas, one night of fantasy turns into reality before they part ways and head back to their regular lives. Six weeks later, Danni discovers that Adam is no longer her business rival. He is now her boss. While Danni can understand why he kept this information from her, she feels like he is still holding something back and those doubts begin to create problems in their budding relationship.
Adam has wanted Danni for years and their one night in Vegas will never be enough. Working for the same company should erase most of the problems but from day one, Adam is put in a position where he can’t win. Does he continue to lie to a woman that already has trust issues, even if it’s for her protection, or does he come clean and risk losing her forever?
By the time I had reached page 10 of Adored, I had already bumped up my A/C. Yes, the fantasy scenes are that hot and the real love scenes between Danni and Adam are even hotter. But that’s not what made this book a keeper for me, although it’s a really nice bonus . This book is all about the emotion. Danni’s fear, Adam’s determination, and the love they share creates an engaging story, from beginning to end. Ms. Donahue has written a very realistic portrayal of how our pasts can influence our futures and how it is possible to overcome that past. A truly beautiful love story.

“Fantastic!”
Brande – My Foolish Wisdom
Tina Donahue made me cry. She did really! She made me cry all the way through the end of Adam & Danni’s story and a little at the beginning too. In Adored, Adam and Danni are both at a Trade Show in Vegas, having known each other and been polite and friendly for a couple of years while working for different companies. Danni has lusted after Adam for some time. Not acting herself, she gives him a little show of her own in the audience during one of the runway shows. Little did she know she was doing it, which is the great part, she thought she was hidden as she pleasured herself while everyone watched the show. Everyone but Adam that is. He was watching Danni, much to her mortification. And it just gets better and better from there because Adam isn’t about to let her out of his grasp now. My first tear shed when just in the elevator Danni reveals her fantasy to Adam, loving the fast paced way Ms. Donahue advances their confrontation of mutual attraction, it was a really pivotal scene for me as Danni reveals a little more than a fantasy to him, she reveals a little bit of Danni too. . . from the opening chapter of this book I was captured by Danni’s heart and her one desire to be adored, loved and respected. Watching Adam struggle over and over with his dilemma trying to fix things his way was entertaining and heartbreaking at the same time with both characters capturing you and snaring you in their web of love and desire. The drama is just as delicious as the sex!

Reese – Night Owl Reviews
Hot! Hot! Hot! This was a smoking hot read. Danni is at the top of her field in designing risqué lingerie. After two bad relationships, she has decided to focus all her attention on her sexual fantasies. Adam is the new president of her company. He is faced with 2 challenges. First to saving Danni’s job from his budget cutting boss and secondarily proving to Danni that he is the only man that will be featured in her fantasies.
This was a red-hot page-turner as readers are given an up close and personal view of Danni and Adam reenacting her fantasies. The BDSM is mild if you can even call light spanking and being tied to the bed BDSM. Tina Donahue does a wonderful job of weaving a story of romance and love around the sex as a bonus. Close to Perfect – “Laced with humor. . .fluffy, frothy, fancy-free fun.”

When a popular tabloid prints photographs of hunky Miami real estate mogul Josh Wyatt emerging from his private swimming pool in the buff, he decides to advertise for a bodyguard. Ex-cop Tess Franklin works for her dad’s security company. Even though she’s highly trained and proficient in the martial arts, she isn’t Josh’s idea of an enforcer, and, frankly, he feels as protective toward her as she does toward him. It’s lust at first sight, with chemistry sizzling between them from the get-go. However, acting on their feelings is stymied over and over by Tess’ father’s staff and friends, who are dead set on keeping her away from this wealthy playboy. Laced with humor and ongoing jokes regarding the couple’s mutual frustration; the legion of female fans who want to see more of Josh, literally; and Josh’s puzzlement as to where Tess keeps her pistol, Donahue’s eventually erotic romance is fluffy, frothy, fancy-free fun. Florida Keys – Present Day
For most men, receiving panties in the mail along with kinky invitations would be something to celebrate. For Josh Wyatt, it’s a source of utter embarrassment, especially since the instigation of the onslaught is a naked picture of him leaving his pool snapped by a trespassing paparazzo and published on the front page of a tabloid. After growing up poor and working hard to get to his current stature as one of Florida’s leading real estate moguls, Josh never expected to be the subject of tabloid fodder. Now, with his secretary telling him to lighten up and his attorney advising him to get a bodyguard to prevent erroneous lawsuits from women who’ll claim all kinds of things if Josh is ever in a room alone with them, something the former construction worker cringes at, Josh’s life is about to change again, and not for the better in his opinion. Then Tess Franklin enters his life.
Ex-cop and private security specialist Tess Franklin is going against her father’s wishes by seeking out Josh Wyatt. Having seen — okay, ogled — the photos in the tabloid, Tess is determined to offer her services as a bodyguard. A high profile case like this can help get her father’s security business off the ground, despite his protestations against publicity seeking celebrities. But one look into Josh’s eyes and his panty melting stare (did she say that out loud?), and Tess is convinced that the pictures are a source of embarrassment for him. Too bad she can’t stop looking at them…or at him.
Josh is determined that Tess will be more than his bodyguard. Unfortunately, with her services comes an overprotective father and a bevy of his ex-cop friends, equally determined that Josh keep his hands to himself. Here begins a courtship full of sizzling foreplay, media lights, and maybe, just maybe, a love that can stand the test of time.
CLOSE TO PERFECT is a charming yet steamy tale of romance. Josh Wyatt is close to the perfect man. He’s an ex-construction worker, so he can fix things around the house; a great cook; he used to be poor and a man had to eat, and now he’s rich and can have and do anything he wants (where do I get one of them?). Although he tries to remain true to his roots, at the end of the day, money does change you a bit, and Josh has to fight some of his controlling tendencies. Tess has always gone against the grain and her father’s desires. First, by becoming a cop, and then by becoming a bodyguard. Although you never get to see Tess use any of her combat-related skills, it is fun to watch Josh try to figure out where she’s hiding her gun (she’s never without it) when she’s wearing very little. At times, both protagonists can be a bit childish and unprofessional, but it doesn’t detract too much from the tale.
Secondary characters include Tess’s father and his friends and Josh’s secretary Peg and attorney Alan. In their own way, all of these characters push Tess and Josh closer together. There is a secondary romance between Tess’s father and Peg, but Tess and Josh take center stage. As for the romance, well, that goes from sizzle to flash fire almost immediately. One scene in particular — a dressing room of a store — will have readers dashing out into the snow to cool off.
For those cold wintry nights, curl up next to the fire and indulge in CLOSE TO PERFECT. It’ll warm you from the inside out.

The paparazzi salivate over obtaining photos of Florida real estate hunk Josh Wyatt. When some enterprising member of that tabloid photo club gets pictures of a naked Josh leaving his secluded Florida Keys swimming pool and prints them in the Keys Confidential, he feels his privacy has been invaded. The moments he is not irate Josh wonders how the photographer accomplished the feat. However, his biggest concern is he is now the pin-up of women across America; some of whom seem to be stalking him to set him up for a lawsuit.
He hires a bodyguard from Privacy Dynamics, Inc, former police officer Tess Franklin, who is to pretend that she is his girlfriend. The job is a snap to keep the mogul safe from the “badder girl” crowd wanting to either go naked with Josh or compromise him in such a way that he would have to pay them off. However, no one warned her that his nude posing does not do justice to the real thing.
CLOSE TO PERFECT is an engaging contemporary romance starring a beleaguered likable but humiliated male and the woman hired to protect his body from opportunist females. However, Tess after meeting the hunk wonders who will protect him from her while Josh debates how she could hide a gun in the clothing that outlines her perfect body. Readers will enjoy this fun romp that showcases the impact of the media on the privacy of celebrities even those who prefer not to be in the news ever.

Tess Franklin used to be a cop, but now she is in to protection. When she gets a job protecting Josh Wyatt she figures why not, but she never thought that Josh would melt her like a wax candle. The best way to protect him is to pretend to be his girlfriend and with a man like Josh that’s no problem, but what will happen when it’s time for her to leave?
Josh Wyatt worked hard to get where he is, so when tabloids start snapping very personal pictures of him he knows it’s time to get a little protection. He never expected Tess though, and now he knows she may have been the woman he has been looking for all along. Tess is determined to do her job, but can Josh figure out a way to convince her that they can have a personal as well as professional relationship?
CLOSE TO PERFECT is a great tale that readers are sure to enjoy, and the interactions between Tess and Josh are incredible and full of sparks and fire. The love scenes are amazing and sensual, and the story line will have readers laughing out loud. Tina Donahue has done an excellent job of creating two characters that readers won’t soon forget, and leave them panting for more from this wonderful author. Close to Perfect – “. . . entertaining and so very sexy!”
By Lori Sears, Romance Reader’s Connection -Rating – 4
Josh Wyatt was caught with his pants down, completely down, as in nude. Unfortunately, a popular tabloid captured him on film and plastered his derriere for the entire world to gaze at. Normally, nudity wouldn’t bother Josh, but all the freaks are coming out of the woodworks and stalking him. He likes women, but this has gotten out of hand. What he needs is a bodyguard.
Tess Franklin just happens to fit the bill. Tess is an ex-cop who has experience with hand to hand combat, martial arts, and FBI training. After viewing Josh in the tabloid, she also thinks he is really HOT! Josh only has one thought, where does she keep her gun? He figures that Tess will make a great bodyguard, but he wants her to pretend to be his girlfriend in public. He also wants her to live with him, after all how can she protect him if she isn’t with him 24/7. Tess’s dad is livid and he plans to have his security dogging every step they take.
Donahue’s CLOSE TO PERFECT is entertaining and so very sexy! Josh is constantly on the make and Tess is encouraging him. Of course, as his bodyguard, a relationship is out of the question. So Josh plans to use his entire arsenal to get the girl of his dreams. The reader will enjoy the fireworks in this story. It is lighthearted reading and is the perfect story to lose yourself in.

Nadine St. Denis, Romance Junkies Reviewer
Having his bodacious buns plastered in a popular tabloid is just way too invasive, not to mention damned embarrassing! How is Josh Wyatt going to fend off the flood of propositions from every single woman in the county? He might need a bodyguard.
Tess Franklin might have all the right credentials to be a bodyguard, but with her heart-stopping face and luscious figure, she has to work even harder to prove she is up to the job. Landing real estate mogul Josh Wyatt would not only be great for the bank account, but prove to everyone especially her father, a retired cop, that she is good. Will she be up to the task?
Real estate tycoon Josh Wyatt knows that with wealth come problems as well. But having his privacy invaded in the most humiliating way, is going too far. When his personal assistant and lawyer try to convince him that he might need a bodyguard, until the hoopla dies down, he balks. Until he gets his first glimpse of Tess. Her beauty draws him in, but it’s her gutsy attitude and tough exterior that convinces him, that he might just need her after all.
Keeping the paparazzi and lust-crazed women away is not going to be a problem. Posing as his girlfriend? Well, that might be a problem. Because even though she knows not to get involved with a client, Wyatt’s extremely delectable male magnetism might prove to be too much of a temptation.
Tina Donahue will tickle your fancy with her impressive characters; tons of sensuality, and a steamy story that will have you avidly reading long into the night. This novel is definitely CLOSE TO PERFECT.

Josh Wyatt is in need of a bodyguard after he is inundated with propositions when revealing photos of him are printed in the newspaper. The more time Josh spends in Tess’s company the more he becomes convinced that their relationship might not be a temporary one.
Bodyguard Tess Franklin decides to apply for the position as Josh Wyatt’s protector against her father’s wishes. Tess is also caught off guard by her instant attraction to Josh and is unsure if she will be able to behave in a professional manner when Josh requests that she keep her reason for being with him a secret by posing as his girlfriend. Not even the disapproval of her father or the fact that Tess and Josh are playing make believe will keep them from turning their invented relationship into reality.
Close to Perfect was a fabulous read. The attraction between Tess and Josh was palpable and will have readers sighing in ecstasy at their sexual magnetism. Josh Wyatt is a real estate developer. He is furious when his privacy is invaded; private, naked moments in his pool are on display in a tabloid called Keys Confidential. Although this gained him the title of Most Delectable Hunk, his attorney is determined to hire Josh a bodyguard.
Tess Franklin is a bodyguard with her father’s business: Privacy Dynamics, Inc., specializing in protecting celebrities from the paparazzi. A former cop, Tess is more than qualified for the job, although her father would prefer she do something less dangerous — like dancing. Tess always loved dancing, but she loves her job more and could never give it up.
Tess meets Josh and cannot stop staring at him, mesmerized by the perfect man. She understands the tabloid labelling him a ‘delectable hunk’. Not believing this beautiful woman is qualified to be a bodyguard, he tells her she must pretend they are involved, to discourage ladies vying for his attention.
She must also move into his house immediately. They fight their attraction to one another until a story breaks in the tabloids about another celebrity. Tess realizes her time with Josh is ending. She is determined their last night together be one that lasts in their memories forever. Fireworks explode and the sex is very heated. Will this be their only night? Will a misunderstanding separate them? Will they realize they love each other before it is too late?
Ms Donahue has written a wonderful story that will have you laughing one minute and crying the next. The emotions in this book will take you on a roller coaster ride. Take My Breath Away – “Fans of Lori Foster will enjoy Donahue’s light, sexy romp.”
Writer-director Cole Ryder dreads meeting Thaddeus Leigh’s niece, Ariel, but he’s a visitor on Leigh’s Isla de Delicia (Isle of Delight), so there’s no escape. But Ariel, much to Cole’s surprise, turns out to be a strong, beautiful woman who is able to pilot her own helicopter. As far as Cole can tell, Ariel’s major flaw is the fact that she wants to change the script of his movie. In his version, a handsome marine (someone like him) saves a damsel in distress. In her version, a superwoman (someone like her) saves a clueless, stranded politician with her keen survival skills. Finally, Cole agrees to follow her script step-by-step in a real-life, jungle situation to see if her changes would actually work. Fans of Lori Foster will enjoy Donahue’s light, sexy romp.

He seeks help from Ariel, a sexy survival expert who knows the rainforest inside and out. When this tropical beauty agrees to spend a few days and nights in the rain forest with him, Cole begins thinking more about romance under the stars than survival.

Former marine, Hollywood director Cole Ryder decides he needs a better understanding of survival in the tropics to bring reality to his next action flick. He arranges first hand research with survival expert Ariel Leigh as his guide for three days and nights in Paradise. However, upon seeing his hostess, Cole thinks more of romance rather than adventure though her wealthy influential uncle warns Cole that Ariel is forbidden fruit and to stay away from his beloved niece or watch his film career end.
Ariel begins showing Cole survival techniques that tempt Cole beyond anything he ever wanted, her kisses burn his insides so that he wonders if he will survive this trek and has no regard for his movie future as all he can think of is Ariel in his arms and more. Cole does not fear her uncle, but is totally frightened by his feelings and needs for Ariel. However, she believes males except for her relative are fickle with no endurance for the long term. Cole seems different, but one last torturing temptation will determine if he is the one to bring paradise to Ariel as he already owns her heart.
The exotic location enhances an erotic plot starring two individuals who heat the pages. The story line combines intelligent yet absurd humor with torrid antics as the lead couple amusingly banters back and forth; even when the event seems innocent there is a double entendre; for instance no one will ever go fishing again without thinking of Ariel’s “catch”. Tina Donahue provides her audience with a fabulous funny sultry story.

Ex-Marine Cole Ryder is not allowed to touch, seduce or lead on Ariel Leigh. Ariel’s overly protective uncle is more than prepared to haul Cole’s ass off his tropical island should he hurt her in any way. Working on his first feature film, Cole needs the uncle’s goodwill to secure the island as prime location for the shoot. Laying eyes on Ariel doesn’t change that, but makes it more difficult.
Ariel doesn’t believe in love, in a committed relationship, especially when it comes to the Hollywood types, the men and women so much like her parents. However, she’s more than willing to enjoy the three nights and days she’s got with Cole. Fascinated by his military background, she decides he might be man enough to respect her expertise and not to be intimated by her.
Cole, only too happy to be challenged, is on for a chase through the rainforest, a commanding woman and a script ever changing. Were it up to him, the sex scene would be moved forward. Page 5 would be nice, especially as Ariel plans on reenacting the whole thing. However, Ariel knows that to guarantee the ultimate satisfaction one needs to savor the anticipation – while indulging in heated kisses, strong embraces and exploring hands.
Ariel is an intriguing heroine. She manages to seduce Cole not only into her arms, but also into rewriting his whole script and following her lead. Taking his breath away with complete adoration for his person she allows him to excel at keeping her hot and satisfied at night. Readers looking for an alpha hero might be disappointed, as Cole is only too happy for Ariel to have her way. And so Ariel, secure in his respect and admiration, takes charge when it comes to providing food, shelter and protection.

Super sexy story that’s light and fun. I found myself lost on this tropical island, and I loved every minute! A fun romp through a tropical jungle where Cole Ryder’s hot muscles and everything else pop right off the page. I rooted for Ariel right from the beginning and through to the end. She’s cool, witty, and confident, and a real person from the start. After her share of heartbreak, she has definitely earned this love from an honest, solid man. Lots of saucy banter, tropical settings, and interesting tidbits on wilderness survival. The steamy sex scenes will make you wish you were the one with the diamond stars and flowing red hair cuz Cole Ryder is a serious, hot sexy hunk!

“Wicked” Women On Top has three hot and spicy tales to get your pulse jumping.
Let the Games Begin by Tina Donahue has Tiffany Taylor wanting to prove herself to her dads right hand man Nick Marlow. Nick makes a bet with Tiffany for control of the casino they both now work for, if he wins it’s a night of passion. For Tiffany if she loses she still wins, for she has had a crush on Nick since they first met. Tiffany and Nicks chemistry snaps and sizzles.
This anthology is the complete package. All three stories have hot chemistry and smoking passion. You can’t go wrong with this book.

“WICKED” WOMEN ON TOP Tina Donahue, Jen Nicholas, Jordan Summers Brava February 2005 ISBN # 0758209355 Anthology – Contemporary Romance Let the Games Begin – “Kudos to Ms. Donahue for writing a contemporary romance that shines.”
When Nick Marlow learns that his partner has given controlling interest of their casino to his daughter, Tiffany, Nick is sure he’s going to have to babysit her more than work with her. But seeing Tiffany Taylor again all grown-up and involved in the business, he realizes he’s about to enter into the most crucial game of his life. As Nick and Tiffany make high-stake bets on one another, they learn that sometimes it’s even better to “lose” than win.
“Wicked” Women on Top showcases three authors who are exceptional writers. Tina Donahue is one author I am sad to say I have never had the pleasure to read before, but I will be tracking down copies of the titles from her backlist. This author captured my attention to her work while reading Let the Games Begin. Nick and Tiffany are hot, electric and heart-warming characters. This story is fast-paced and takes a reader’s breath away. I loved the sass of Tiffany and the controlled nature of Nick. Together they light the world on fire! Kudos to Ms. Donahue for writing a contemporary romance that shines.
”Wicked” Women on Top has three wonderful contemporary romances within its pages that shouldn’t be missed. Each sports its own flavour and the stories are brought together nicely with action, passion, honest and sassy characters, and the writing talents of three authors who give their audience all they could want in romance. Jen Nicholas, Tina Donahue and Jordan Summers are three “wicked” authors on top of their writing. I can’t wait to read more from each of them in the future.

Wicked Women On Top
Wicked Women On Top is another wonderful anthology put out by Brava. Anthology lovers will not want to miss these three heat packed stories.
Let the Games Begin – “. . . readers are taken on a sexual adventure they are not soon going to forget.”
Nick Marlow had tried to avoid Tiffany Taylor for as long as he could. After all, he wanted their first meeting to be on his terms. She was his boss’ daughter who now owned a bigger stock in the Piacere Casino than Nick himself did. Wanting to prove to her that he was the true boss, Nick makes a deal that one of night of gaming would determine who had the say so in the company. That one night will prove to be the hottest night of both of their lives.
This story had very well developed characters in Tiffany and Nick. Miss Donahue did a wonderful job in giving enough backdrop into their past and why they both felt they deserved to be where they are. However, Tiffany’s emotions for Nick begin to show and readers are taken on sexual adventure they are not soon going to forget.
Wicked Women On Top is a great addition to anthology lovers. Brava gives us three awesome authors with three stories that will leave readers wanting more. This reviewer cannot wait for the next installment of Wicked Women!
