Our Tax Dollars are Creating Jobs in China – WTF???

Saw a really disturbing piece of information on ABC Nightly News last night.

John Karl, for ABC News, reported that of the 2 billion spent of OUR TAX MONEY, 80% has gone to foreign sources to create jobs IN THEIR COUNTRY, NOT OURS.

WTF! Are our politicians completely crazy or just so totally arrogant that they don’t give a damn that they’re robbing us of our money, leaving us jobless, homeless, hopeless, while giving the money to foreigners.

In my home state of California, things couldn’t be worse. Just about everyone is either on unemployment or welfare. Forty percent of stores in the mall near my house are out of business. Home after home is in foreclosure. Housing tracts look like ghost towns. Crime is up with bank robbery (always popular in California) reaching unprecedented heights. The sales tax is over 8% and climbing to pay for a state deficit that is so out of control it’s doubtful it will ever be fixed. The state is releasing felons from prisons and jails early so as to save a few bucks, which adds to the crime rate.

And our federal government is giving OUR tax dollars to China so their people have jobs????

This craziness has to stop. We already have ridiculous amounts of waste in our government with Medicaid and welfare fraud. Where are the marches on Washington to stop that and sending our jobs and dollars overseas? Where’s the outrage? Nightly, I see Republicans and Democrats trashing each others’ parties, claiming theirs has the answers.

Well, how about answering some pointed questions right now:

1. Why are you allowing our stimulus dollars (or any dollars for that matter) to employ people overseas? Is it because we owe them a bundle and it’s now payback time? Is it because you allowed this to happen?
2. When are you going to create jobs here in America with American dollars?
3. When are you going to stop fraud in Medicaid and welfare?
4. When are you going to fine military contractors for unnecessary cost overruns?
5. When are you going to be good Americans and help your people not everyone else on Planet Earth?
6. When are you going to vote the American people the same healthcare, pensions, and safety nets that each of you have?

Don’t worry – I’m not waiting for any answers, I know better than that. Our representatives are too busy sniping at each other and taking handouts from lobbyists to even think about providing representation and hope to their fellow citizens, at least the little guys who need it the most.
