Now back to erotic romance and the book I’m f0cusing on during the hop – Emma Holly’s The Top of Her Game.

The secondary characters in Emma’s fabulous book were nicely drawn. However, the ones I remember the most were the animals, Zach’s dog and the mare who’d just given birth. I love animals and the scenes with them really drew me into the story.
I haven’t often used animals in my erotic romances. However, in my award-winning erotic contemporary Take Me Away, the little puppy known as Buddy (or Buddy Baby as Lexi likes to call him), definitely made me and a lot of my fans smile.
Don’t forget to leave those comments for your chance to win!!!

I agree, I have read a number of books where the animal(s) made a big splash in the stories. In fact I remember one story where the hero actual had an emotional breakthrough because of a doggy getting sick…what a way to heal some scars
I don’t think I’ve read a book, not alone an erotic one, that featured an animal. Reading Take Me Away will be a chance of pace for me.
So true, Eva – thanks for stopping by!
Thanks to everyone for stopping by these past days. I’ve now chosen the winner of my contest (at random from all the comments May 10-14) and the winner is (drum roll please) Rae M.
Yay, Ray!! I’ll be contacting you shortly for your prize.
